Doorway at the AlcazarHow to Apply

"CC-CS offered me the most valuable experience of my entire life. The faculty, staff, fellow students and locals are all incredible people that accompany you throughout this life-changing adventure. Give this experience everything that you have, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

-Meghan Lunetta, Loyola College, MD

  1. Check Deadlines
Click on "Dates and Fees" to view CC-CS application deadlines. Admissions to CC-CS are on a rolling basis, so applying early is always encouraged (see 10 Reasons to Complete Your Application Early).

Also, check out the deadlines for the CC-CS Scholarship and Internship applications if you wish to apply for these program options.

  2. Research Programs
Research which of the CC-CS Programs is right for you: Choose Your Program. If you need assistance in deciding between the programs, call (800)377-2621 to speak with a Programs Associate.

  3. Discuss Your Study Abroad Plans with your Advisor
Consult with your advisor regarding your study abroad plans. Your advisor can inform you of study abroad requirements and your school's acceptance of the CC-CS transcript.

  4. Complete Your CC-CS Application Online
Click on the button to start your application:

  5. Check Your Passport
Obtain a valid passport if you do not have one yet. To travel abroad, you need a passport valid for six months after your program end date. If you do not have a valid passport, you must apply for one immediately. It can take up to eight weeks to receive your passport, so apply for it right away.

  6. Await Your Acceptance
Generally you will learn of your acceptance status within 1-2 weeks of CC-CS receiving all of your application materials. If accepted, CC-CS will notify you via email and you will receive an acceptance packet in the mail.

Note: The quality of our student body sets CC-CS apart from other study abroad institutions. Students are required to have a 3.0 GPA in Spanish coursework, although exceptions may be made with strong recommendations from faculty. We reserve the right to reject students based upon their past academic performance and other relevant considerations.
