Spanish for the Health Professional
A course designed to help students develop language skills for health-related professions. Students participating in this course will learn how to communicate more effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and their families as well as how to consult with other health professionals. Medical health terminology,
patient/client-interviewing skills, and cultural factors affecting health care delivery will also be studied. (45 hours, 3 credits)
