Córdoba, Argentina
The Córdoba Summer Term consists of a four-week Intensive
Language and Culture session and is located at Argentina's oldest
university, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). During this time, you
take an intensive language and culture course, while discovering the
culture and people of Argentina. Advanced students may also choose to participate in an internship or service learning opportunity during their summer term.
The Spanish Studies Resident Director and UNC's PECLA (Programa
de Español y Cultura Latinoamericana) staff guide you through this
process of discovery by regular contact with Spanish Studies students and
organizing special cultural activities.
Students have the option to choose one 80-hour intensive language
course, one or two 45-hour content courses, or an internship or service learning opportunity. In addition to coursework, the
program includes a home stay, cultural visits within Córdoba, a cultural
day-trip to the estancias jesuíticas, and an overnight three-day trip to Buenos Aires.

All students live with local host families.
Students interested in gaining professional experience abroad may want to consider participating in a Summer Internship or Service Learning opportunity during a summer in Córdoba.
