SUMMER PROGRAMS
May Term
The May Term, a 2.5 week intensive language program at all levels, is ideal for students who want to get a head start on their language skills in preparation for the summer term or are looking for a short-term program focusing on a language and cultural immersion. Offered in:
Seville, Spain
*Students who choose Seville Summer Term 1& 2 and add May Term can earn up to 15 credits
Summer Terms 1 & 2
The Summer Terms offer students a short-term opportunity to study Spanish language and culture during the summer. Each term is 3.5 to 4 weeks long, and students may choose to enroll in one or both terms for an exciting summer abroad. Earn between 4 and 12 credits and take courses in a variety of majors. Spanish Studies Abroad will use its long-standing community relationships to find you the perfect fit for your experience and interests. Options are available in fields such as health, business, education, journalism, engineering, museums, non-profits, and more!
Service Learning
Want to spend the summer making a difference? Service learning abroad is a unique and rewarding way to experience another culture while earning academic credit. Based on your interests and experience, you will be placed in a local development or educational organization that serves the greater good of the community. Past placements have included (but are not limited to) assisting the elderly, working with local children, and building homes in the local community.
