Seville, Spain:
"Sevilla es, sin ninguna duda, una ciudad diferente al resto de ciudades de España. No sólo por su luz y su color, sino también por su manera de vivir y respirar.
Se dice que en Sevilla se vive en la calle, y es cierto; su clima, su gente, su vitalidad tanto de día como de noche te invita a salir, perderte entre sus calles, y ver la cultura tradicional, donde casi cada mes puedes ver alguna procesión por las calles, orquestas, familias reunidas para eventos. Sevilla, aunque tradicional, va admitiendo elementos modernos y vanguardistas integrándolos de forma única en su paisaje más clásico.
Como directora residente, me encanta ver cómo nuestros estudiantes aprenden a manejarse en la ciudad desde el primer momento, cómo se integran y disfrutan de todas las oportunidades que la ciudad y el programa les ofrecen. Desde nuestra oficina ayudamos a los estudiantes en todos los aspectos de su estancia, les damos las claves necesarias para su vida aquí y nos aseguramos de que están cómodos y aprenden lo máximo posible no sólo del idioma sino también de la cultura. El desarrollo intercultural es una prioridad para nosotros, y tenemos la suerte de estar localizados en un entorno único!"
Translation:
"There’s no doubt Seville is different from the rest of cities in Spain. Not only for its light and color, but also for its way of living and breathing.
People say that in Seville, you live outside, and that’s true; the weather, people and night and day vitality invite you to go out, get lost in the old, narrow streets, and experience traditional culture, where almost every month you can find street processions, bands, and family gatherings. Even with its traditions, this is a city where modernity is slowly creeping in, yet traditions are very alive.
As Resident Director, I love seeing how our students learn to manage themselves in the city from the first moment, how they integrate and enjoy all the opportunities that the city and the program offer. From our office, we help students in all aspects of their stay; we give them the necessary keys for their lives here and make sure they feel comfortable and get the most not only of the language but also the culture. Cross-cultural development is our priority, and we are lucky to be located in the perfect setting! "

Alicante, Spain:
“Sin duda alguna, el programa en Alicante es único, no sólo por su localización en las playas del Mar Mediterráneo sino también por su tranquilidad y ritmo de vida. La ciudad de Alicante permite que los estudiantes se sumerjan en la cultura española desapercibidamente.
Mi objetivo es proporcionarte todos los recursos que te ayudarán a maximizar tu experiencia en Alicante. Podrás escoger las actividades que estén de acuerdo con tus intereses y requisitos académicos que te permitirán a la vez vivir la cultura. Entre estas actividades encontrarás el baile, teatro, deportes, cocina, voluntariados, tutorías de inglés, etc. La clave es encontrar una buena combinación del estudio con la diversión para así lograr tus objetivos individuales y poder beneficiarte de cada día que vivas esta experiencia única.”

You may choose activities according to your interests and academic needs, allowing you to live the culture. These activities include dance, theater, sports, cooking, volunteering, tutoring in English, etc. The key is to find a good combination of study and leisure so that you may achieve your individual objectives and benefit each day from this unique experience.”

Córdoba, Argentina
“Conocida como ‘la Docta’ por su fuerte arraigo universitario, Córdoba cuenta con seis casas de altos estudios y recibe miles de estudiantes. Es la segunda ciudad del país y, sin embargo, todavía conserva un característico toque provinciano. Además, uno encuentra muy pocos turistas hablando en inglés cuando camina por la ciudad, lo que permite una inmersión total en español para un estudiante extranjero.
Lo más lindo de mi trabajo es ver los cambios personales de los alumnos dese el día que llegan hasta cuando se despiden y se llevan algo de mi querida argentina. Quizás que sientan que 6 meses o un año es mucho tiempo para estar lejos de sus afectos, pero cuando miran en retrospectiva se dan cuenta que esta experiencia fue un punto en su línea de la vida.
No hay recetas mágicas para una buena estadía, simplemente vengan con la mente y el corazón abierto para llevarse lo mejor que tenemos los cordobeses "la cordialidad y buena onda." Acá estoy esperándolos para una experiencia que va a cambiar sus vidas y dispuesta a ayudarlos en lo que necesiten. NOS VEMOS!"

"Known as ‘la Docta’ for its deep-rooted academic history, Córdoba is home to six universities and hosts thousands of students. Though it’s the nation’s second-largest city, Córdoba still maintains a strong sense of local community. Walking through the streets, you’ll encounter few foreign tourists speaking English, providing an ideal environment for Spanish language immersion.
The best part of my job is to see the ways that students change from the day they arrive until the day they leave, taking with them a piece of my dear Argentina. Maybe they think that six months or a year is a long time to be far from their loved ones, but when they look back, they realize that this experience was merely a stop on life’s path.
There are no magic recipes for a good stay, simply come with an open heart and mind to experience the warmth and good vibes of the Córdoba people. I await you here in Córdoba for an experience that will change your lives, and I am here to help you in any way we can. See you soon!"
