Quarter and Trimester Options
For those students on the quarter and trimester systems, it isn't often as easy to find a study abroad program to fit your schedule. While Spanish Studies Abroad programs are designed on the semester system schedule and credit system, students on the quarter or trimester system often study abroad on our programs. Many times these programs can provide more credits than a typical quarter/trimester all for about the same cost!
Below is a list of Spanish Studies programs that may work for students at schools on this type of academic calendar. Some of our programs may be combined to help you obtain the necessary number of credits and classes for more than one quarter or trimester. Due to varying school schedules, please verify the program dates with your own university's calendar and speak with your advisor.

Summer Internship or Service Learning Programs
Our 8-week summer internship and service learning program is very flexible and can be
shortened to 6-7 weeks to be done in the summer in any program locations. All summer internship or service learning programs must be complete by
July 31. These programs may also begin any time during the academic year (except
Dec 24-Jan 1) and be extended to last for 10 weeks for students wanting
to replace a quarter with professional experience abroad. For more on these and other internship options, visit here.
