Integrated Spanish Studies with Local Students
Seville, Spain

Designed for the advanced student that has completed three semesters of advanced Spanish. Students attend classes alongside native Spanish students at one of two universities in Seville - Universidad de Sevilla or Universidad Pablo de Olavide.

After an initial intensive language period, the term of study follows the university’s academic year calendar and students can select courses from the university’s many disciplines, including humanities, science and technology, social science and justice, health science, and education.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
  • Dedication to academic excellence
  • Fall, Spring or Academic Year programs 
  • Semesters begin with an intensive language and culture period (Monday-Friday)
  • After the intensive period, students follow the university's course schedule  
  • 14 - 18 semester credits; advanced students may take additional credits with prior approval from their adviser and the Resident Director
  • Prerequisite: The successful completion of three semesters of advanced college Spanish or the equivalent, or native/near-native speakers of Spanish
  • 3.0 GPA in Spanish coursework required. Individual Universidad de Sevilla or Universidad Pablo de Olavide courses may have additional prerequisites. Exceptions may be made with strong recommendations from faculty.

Courses
All courses are taught in Spanish by highly qualified Spanish university professors with extensive experience in teaching American students.

Accommodation
Students may select to live with a local host family or in a student residencia.
