Options for Health-Related Majors
Spanish Studies Abroad Courses
These courses are offered through the Spanish Studies and Integrated Studies semester programs, or during the summer terms.
This course offers the unique opportunity for students to develop their language skills for health-related professions. Offered at the advanced level, students will learn how to communicate more effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and their families as well as how to consult with other health professionals.
Integrated Courses at Local Universities
Students in the Integrated Studies programs have the option of taking one or more courses at local universities in Spain, Argentina and Puerto Rico. These courses are offered through regular university course listings and allow students to experience life as a typical university student in Spain, Argentina or Puerto Rico by studying alongside local students.
Courses are available in disciplines such as:
- Biology
- Nursing
- Nutrition
- Physical Therapy
- Psychology
- Sports Science
