Family Week
Seville, Spain

Every Fall and Spring Semester CC-CS offers Family Week programs for the families of all students attending Seville Semester programs.  This program is specifically designed to give families a glimpse into their student’s experience and life abroad. If you are thinking about visiting your student and sharing his/her unique experience abroad, we urge you to consider attending this special trip. The goal of the program is to create a hassle-free Spanish experience for families so that students can share their new home while managing their studies. Each day CC-CS plans day-trips and cultural events, balancing their schedule with free time to allow students to spend time with their families in their new home.

CC-CS Family Week includes:

  • 7 nights lodging in a centrally located hotel
  • Two meals per day
  • Transportation to cultural sites
  • Local guides and a CC-CS group leader
  • Flamenco performance
  • Visits to museums and cultural sites
  • Day trip to the nearby city of Córdoba
  • Farewell lunch to a bull finca (ranch) 
Costs Not Included:
  • Flights
  • One meal per day
  • Personal Expenses
*Please note: Students can participate in Family Week events as long as it does not interfere with their class schedules and academic responsibilities. Students are still responsible for completing papers, homework, exams, etc. and attending class.

Program Costs:
Single Room Program Cost:      $1,731*
Double Room Program Cost:    $1,496 (per participant)
Triple Room Program Cost:       $1,496 (per participant)

*Total cost includes single room supplement
10% discount available to children under 12 years of age. Some restrictions may apply. Please contact CC-CS for details.

Program Deadlines:
Registration Deadline and $300 non-refundable deposit:  February 1, 2012** Extended to February 29, 2012

Final Program Payment: February 15, 2012 Extended to March 5, 2012

**To facilitate your own travel arrangements, we encourage you to register as early as possible.

Please remit by credit card or check payable to: The Center for Cross-Cultural Study, 446 Main Street, Amherst MA 01002-2314.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
A non-refundable $300 application deposit is due with this application.

Notification of cancellation from the Family Week program must be made in writing to CC-CS. Once we receive the written cancellation the following penalties will be incurred:
  • 50% of the program cost will be retained for withdrawal from the program 31-60 days before departure.
  • No refunds will be issued 30 days or less before departure.
***Please note: The Family Week program is based on a minimum of 10 participants. CC-CS reserves the right to cancel the program due to low registration.
