These programs make the study of business or professional work experience the primary focus of your study abroad. All Spanish Studies Abroad programs offer a homestay and required language course during the intensive period to help hone your language skills and immerse yourself in the culture as you study business in the context of your chosen location.

International Business Program in English, Alicante Spain

Through our cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universidad de Alicante (UA), Spanish Studies Abroad offers semester business courses taught in English. Over 200 international students participate in this program each year and enjoy an intercultural experience involving people from all over the world. In addition to a unique Spanish Studies Language & Culture component, students take the majority of their classes in English and attend these courses alongside other international students studying business at UA.

International Business School (ESCI), Barcelona, Spain

Spanish Studies and Integrated Spanish Studies students may take advantage of the broad selection of courses from the International Business School that Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) offers.
The university has extensive experience working with international students and offers quality education with its emphasis on international business. Courses are offered in English or Spanish.

Spanish Studies Abroad internships allow you to gain professional experience while improving your Spanish. Students may complete an internship at a local business or organization during the summer or during the semester. All internship programs begin with an intensive language course, and during the semester students may also choose to take a content course alongside their internship.

Students in the Integrated Studies program elect to take one or more courses alongside native students at local universities in Spain, Argentina or Puerto Rico. These courses are offered through regular universities course listings and allow students to experience life as a typical university student in Spain, Argentina or Puerto Rico by studying alongside local students.
