Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Southern Spain through the Intermediate & Advanced Spanish Studies program in Seville. This program offers students a variety of course options at the Center's historic facility in downtown Seville, and includes numerous cultural activities, day trips and excursions. Intermediate & Advanced Spanish Studies is designed for the student that has completed at least one semester of intermediate college Spanish or the equivalent.
All Intermediate & Advanced Spanish Studies courses are specifically designed to enhance your understanding of modern Spain while you immerse yourself in Spanish language and culture. The program is tailored to help students fulfill requirements needed for Spanish, international studies, business, education and other majors. In addition to living in a Spanish home, cultural events and social activities enhance the cultural element of your experience. At the Center, you also benefit from the expertise of our staff, who guide you to more fully immerse yourself in the sevillano community through volunteer work, local clubs, internships, etc.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Dedication to academic excellence
- Semester or Academic Year
- Semesters begin with an intensive language period (Monday-Friday)
- After the intensive period, classes generally meet Monday-Thursday, allowing for independent travel
- Average class size: 10-12
- 12 - 18 semester credits
- Prerequisite: One semester of intermediate college-level Spanish or the equivalent
- 3.0 GPA in Spanish coursework required

All courses are taught in Spanish by highly qualified native professors at the Center in downtown Seville.
Accommodation
